Shirtology ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Shirtology mobile application. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our app.

Account Information

When you sign in through Shopify Customer Account, we access:

  • Name (first and last)
  • Email address
  • Phone number (if provided)

Shopping Data

  • Cart contents (products, quantities, sizes)
  • Order history and order status
  • Wishlist and recently viewed products

Chat Data

Messages you send to our AI shopping assistant are stored locally on your device and sent to our server to generate responses. Chat history is kept on your device only.

Push Notifications

If you enable push notifications, we collect a device token through Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver notifications about orders and promotions.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and maintain the shopping experience
  • To process and track your orders
  • To personalize product recommendations and size suggestions
  • To send push notifications about order updates and promotions (with your consent)
  • To improve our app and customer service

3. Data Storage and Security

Authentication tokens are stored securely using encrypted device storage. Shopping preferences (cart, wishlist, recently viewed items) are stored locally on your device. We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Third-Party Services

Our app uses the following third-party services:

  • Shopify — for product catalog, cart, checkout, and order management
  • Firebase Cloud Messaging — for push notification delivery

These services have their own privacy policies governing their use of your data.

5. Data Retention

Your account and order data is retained as long as your Shopify customer account is active. Local data (chat history, wishlist, recently viewed) can be cleared by uninstalling the app or clearing app data.

6. Your Rights

You can:

  • Access and update your account information through the app
  • Delete your chat history by clearing app data
  • Disable push notifications through your device settings
  • Request deletion of your account by contacting us

7. Children's Privacy

Our app is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
